Linde-Griffith was initially contracted to install steel H-piles for the Hub at Harrison project; however, the test pile program proved the geotechnical information to be inconsistent with the required pile lengths. Linde-Griffith’s preconstruction testing revealed the required pile length to be 140’ versus the anticipated 60’ lengths. Linde-Griffith value engineered taper tube piles, which achieved in excess of the required capacity, in pile lengths ranging from 60’ to 75’, providing a substantial savings to the project owner.
